Greek Almond Biscuits

Traditionally known as "Amygdalota" in Greece, these biscuits are a delightful fusion of simplicity and flavor!


  • 1 Egg White
  • 1/3 Cup Castor Sugar
  • 1 Cup Almond Meal
  • Rolling Mixture
  • ¾ Cup Almond Flakes put on a dinner plate for rolling

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180c.
  2. Grease and line a cookie tray with grease proof paper.
  3. Mix all ingredients, but not the flakes, together in a bowl, it may appear that it won’t come together but it will.
  4. Take tablespoons of mixture and roll into a ball, next roll into a log and roll into the almond flakes. Bring ends together, forming a crescent shape or the letter C.
  5. Lay on tray and put in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
  6. Cool on tray and when cold put into container if they make it that far!
