Broccoli and Bacon Salad

A crisp medley of vibrant broccoli florets and savory bacon, tossed in a zesty dressing!

Serves 2.


  • Head of Broccoli, with the stalks removed and cut into pieces
  • ¼ red onion sliced finely
  • ½ cup bacon diced and pan fried to crispy
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar

Cooking instructions:

  1. Boil some water in a large saucepan. Whilst it is boiling, add the broccoli for 2 minutes. Drain immediately and run under cold water to stop the cooking process. 
  2. Transfer to a bowl and cool completely. Add the red onion, bacon, cheese and gently toss to combine. 
  3. Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar and mix it through the salad. This is great on it’s own or served with meat or chicken!
