Resident, Maureen, knits Christmas magic in Toowoomba

Using her skilful hands and holiday spirit, Maureen knitted these stunning Christmas decorations which brightened the space throughout the aged care residence.

Her beautiful creations brought warmth, joy, and a true sense of home, and residents stopped to admire her work and offer thanks and congratulations for the effort Maureen put into making Christmas magical for everyone.

Knitting has given Maureen a wonderful sense of purpose and accomplishment. Always eager to share her passion, she’s happy to assist others who want to learn and has even led small knitting groups in the past. Her dedication and generosity remind us that the holiday season is about connection, creativity, and community.
