Annual General Meeting 2020

At this year's AGM, we will be reflecting on the remarkable year that 2020 has been, hearing input around resilience, and how we all have engaged in mission in our context. Our guest speaker will encourage and empower our church pastors and leaders for the next leg of the journey.

In past years, our AGM has coincided with the Minister's Forum held over two (2) days. We have been monitoring the advice of government health authorities regarding the ongoing risks from COVID-19. In light of the social distancing requirements of the Australian and Queensland Governments currently in place and the temporary changes in legislation allowing the convening of online, rather than face-to-face meetings, the Conference Council has prayerfully considered and decided in the interests of the health and safety of our ministers, church delegates and other stakeholders to hold this year's meeting online.

As always, there will be quality input, worship, reflection, stories from new churches wishing to join our movement and a chance for you to laugh and connect with the other ministering persons in your regional clusters who serve with Churches of Christ in Queensland.

The format for 2020 will include the Churches of Christ in Queensland Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 5th November from 5.00pm - 8.00pm. This facility will allow you to vote and to ask questions or make comments online. Information on how to participate will be provided closer to the event date.
