Churches of Christ in Queensland CEO Gary Edwards and McNab CEO Michael McNab have signed the contract for Stage 1 of the Lady Small Haven redevelopment at Benowa on the Gold Coast.
Gary Edwards said that Stage 1 will result in 65 independent retirement living units on six floors, ranging from one to three bedrooms, and a clubhouse on two levels.
“We’re delighted to see this contract signed after years of planning for this critical new infrastructure for the Retirement Village.”
“This is the first step in a longer term vision for the site which will bring many benefits for residents and will help to address the great need for quality retirement and aged care facilities to service the Gold Coast region.”
Construction works will begin shortly. Completion of Stage 1 is anticipated in early 2020.
Master planning is continuing for both Lady Small Haven and Golden Age sites including Retirement Villages and Residential Aged Care on the Gold Coast.
McNab won the Property Council of Australia award in 2017 for a property built for The Village Retirement Group.
