Intensive Family Support Services ‘School Readiness’

An initiative of Churches of Christ in Queensland’s Intensive Family Support Service, the event is designed to assist families associated with the service to experience the best possible start to the new school year.

“We are humbled to support families to receive a positive start to their school year,” the service’s Child and Family Health Nurse, Sandeep Jandu, said.

“We work closely with a range of agencies and services to support families in need to provide a one-stop-shop where parents and children can access a dentist, audiologist, child health nurse, nutritionist, hairdresser and podiatrist. Special thanks to Zephyr Education for their donations.”

The service thanks the specialists who offered their services for free, which contributed to the event’s outstanding success, including Children’s Health Queensland for audiology and vision screeningsEat Smart Nutrition, Lydia’s hairdressing, Happifeet podiatryMt Ommaney Dental and All About Kids Springwood.

Thank you for supporting families to thrive, become stronger and more resilient.
