Early learning and care services

Churches of Christ Care is one of the leading not-for-profit providers of high quality, approved early learning and care services in Queensland, operating services for children aged 0-16 years. Our services focus on community need, and include home-based care, centre-based care and community-based care, all with flexible support options.

Home-based care includes family day care and in-home care and we also operate the Early Childhood Centre in Cunnamulla, which includes a kindergarten. Community-based services include the family support service in Maryborough.

All of our services meet or exceed all relevant legislations and are evaluated and monitored as part of the national approach to quality and assessment. We operate both in-scope and out-of-scope services under the National Quality Framework.

We are committed to recruiting and maintaining qualified early childhood educators. Staff are supported in their professional development through conferences, workshops and involvement in peer networks and learning communities, and the staff exchange program allows educators to experience different service types and locations, helping them to extend their professional growth through mentoring and coaching.

While Christian values of kindness and acceptance are reflected in the supportive, loving environment created for the children, all early learning and care services provided by Churches of Christ Care are non-denominational and celebrate cultural diversity.
