Celebrating 5 years in the Little Mountain Community

In February, our beloved Little Mountain campus turned five, and oh what a celebration it was!

Over 250 residents, dedicated staff, loving families, and cherished members of our local community, gathered to help us celebrate this milestone with an event brimming with warmth and community spirit.

Little Mountain Aged Care’s oldest resident – 102-year-old Olive Macgregor – and our very first resident – Beryl Jobe – officially opened proceedings by cutting the cake.

Throughout the day memories were shared, stories were told, and our guests were treated to stalls from local businesses, craft made lovingly by our aged care residents and staff, as well as a demonstration of Chair Yoga and Zumba, and enjoyed music by local ukulele group the Ladybirds.

Perhaps the true magic of the day was the giggles of children heard throughout the day as they had fun with the free petting zoo, face painting station, and kids craft activity table. It was such a wonderful day for us at Little Mountain, and we were very pleased to be able to share this with our local community.
