Networking Issue 3 2017

The latest edition of Networking is now available with the theme Hope for the Future.

There is so much to be hopeful for about the future. While daily we see turmoil in the world, and find ourselves responding to people in the greatest of needs, the fact that we are here, able to help and able to give individuals and families a sense of hope that a better future is around the corner, is very special.

Throughout this edition, we have many stories that inspire hope from across our churches, mission and services, including the 135th Anniversary of Zillmere Church of Christ, the opening of new offices at Gladstone’s Shed 19 and an update on our major developments. You can also get engrossed in features on our new Children and Youth Advocate, Jane Carter; a look at the causes of poverty and homelessness; our new Youth CONNECT Social Benefit Bond; and recognition of our first Australian’s.

We will be hosting our 134th Annual General Meeting on 16 November. This event will, for the first time, be held at Kenmore, in the new auditorium and function space on the campus. Please visit cofc.com.au/ministersforum for more information and to register.
