Child financial support

    The Australian Government provides financial support for family day care child care services, the new Child Care Package, the Child Care Subsidy takes effect from July 2018 and will replace the Child Care Rebate (CCR) and Child Care Benefit (CCB).     Having a Baby

    If you are having a baby and are unsure what to do there is financial help available. You may be eligible for 1 or more of the available payments.

    What you need to do before starting early childhood care

    Things to remember

    It is the family’s responsibility to inform the Department of Human Services of any changes of circumstances which may affect their Child Care Benefit and their preferred method of payment of the Child Care Rebate.
