Smashing standards on the Sunshine Coast

Children on the Sunshine Coast are in good hands at Early Childhood Centre North Buderim .

The centre has successfully exceeded national quality standards across all areas. Not an easy feat given the rigorous two days of testing they endured from the Department of Education and Training.

It received ratings of ‘exceeding national quality standards’ across all quality areas, meaning the centre has gone beyond requirements of the national quality standard for early childhood education and care.

It also received an overall rating of exceeding national quality standard, the highest rating possible from the Queensland Government.

Children, Youth and Families General Manager Jane Carter said that she was proud of the North Buderim centre and its accomplishment.

“Attaining a rating of this level is an outstanding achievement and one that Service Manager Rhonda Braxton and her team should rightly be delighted with,” Jane said.

“Our early childhood centres deliver quality care each day, but it is external recognition like that that reminds us of the high standard of service provided to families.”

Congratulations Rhonda and the team at North Buderim Early Childhood Centre on your amazing work!
