    You’ve seen the job of your dreams advertised and it’s with us… or you want to work for us but haven’t seen a job advertised yet.

    Great but what can you expect and what is our recruitment process like?  How do you apply and what happens next?

    All of our roles are advertised on our Careers website and almost always on Seek and other recruitment platforms.

    We receive large numbers of applications and interest in our roles so we do prefer that you apply online.

    Our application process is really simple once you’ve hit that all important apply button.

    First of all, you’ll be asked about your work preferences and to upload your resume/CV and cover letter. A lot of people don’t attach a cover letter these days but we strongly encourage it. A cover letter is your opportunity to demonstrate how interested you are in the role, and it can help your application stand out amongst the hundreds we often receive.

    Sometimes there will be a series of questions attached to our application form. It is important that you answer these to ensure your application is complete. These will all be multiple choice or short answer questions.

    Our managers review the applications based on your skills and qualifications. Most of our ads will contain a copy of the position description for the role. We always recommend that you review the position description and make sure that your application highlights the experience and or knowledge we are looking for.

    On average, our roles are advertised for a two week period and you should expect to hear from us within two weeks of applications closing. Please be patient, if you haven’t heard from us, we haven’t forgotten about you. It is our goal to ensure that every candidate hears from us one way or another in a reasonable amount of time.

    Our interviews will be held at the relevant local service or office that you will be working at, and usually be conducted with the manager and one other person. Most people will have only one interview, though more senior roles might require two or three.

    After your interview you may be invited to complete online assessments related to a skillset, such as software proficiency and or personality assessments. 

    We will always conduct reference checks prior to making our final decision and or offer. 

    Should you be offered the role, our recruitment and retention team will email your letter of offer and contract to you as soon as possible. You’ll also receive a welcome pack in the mail including all of the documents you need to complete and return, preferably by your first day of work.
