The special combined December and Best of 2015 edition of Networking is now available.
We have joined this year’s final edition of Networking with our annual Our Stories compilation. Along with the latest stories from across Churches of Christ we also take a look back at some of the best stories we featured throughout the year.
Thank you to everyone who came to Celebrate over 20-21 November. This edition of Networking includes stories of Centrifuge and the Awards Dinner, including all our award winners, and feature photos that take you back to these outstanding events. Celebrate 2015 was easily the best yet, and I look forward to seeing you all at Celebrate 2016, which will be held over 11-12 November.
We talk to four long-serving staff members, who have almost 125 years of service between them, about what they love about their job, how they started and what they like to do in their spare time. We also welcome Regency Park Retirement Village, and share the story about the adventure of lifetime for five indigenous boys who sailed the Queensland coast and learnt about their cultural history.
There were so many wonderful and inspiring stories from 2015. We have included a selection of the stories that highlight what makes us who we are as Churches of Christ and how we have worked together to bring the light of Christ into our communities every day.
You can revisit Hope 31 at Southport Church of Christ and how it is helping vulnerable women in the community and relive the fabulous photoshoots at Clive Burdeu Aged Care Service. We also look back on how Lakeshore Church of Christ and North Buderim Early Childhood Centre are working together to deliver morning coffee; how a housing initiative helps young people at risk of homelessness have a home; and our award winning Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.
We hope you enjoy looking back at some of our best stories of 2015. We look forward to telling your stories in 2016. Please send your stories and ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org.
