Investing in communities

Our commitment

Churches of Christ in Queensland is committed to remote, rural and regional communities ensuring that senior Australians’ care needs are met into the future.

We are developing state of the art seniors living campuses in four Queensland locations.

These developments will create great spaces and services for residents and the community and will include residential aged care accommodation, a campus community centre and a mix of home care and support services.

Each community centre will invite local community groups and on-site residents to be a part of the integrated community lifestyle through the use of a café, auditorium, multipurpose rooms, hairdressing salon and welcome lounge.

Each campus will be architecturally designed and landscaped to complement the local environment.

Incorporating our existing Regency Park Retirement Village with a campus community centre, seniors’ living units, and a 128-bed residential aged care service. Building on our recent acquisition and extension at Regency Park, the integrated community will establish Warwick as a major centre for seniors care in the Southern Downs region.

The first stage of our proposed Boonah development has received formal approval from the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

Stage 1 of the new service will comprise a 64 bed residential aged care facility. The next step in the development is to finalise building design.

The new service will be co-located with the existing Fassifern Retirement Village on Harold Stark Avenue so that all residents can access and experience the new facilities, which include landscaped gardens, a central courtyard and a man-made lake.
Our aim is to create a new and exciting environment where residents will continue to feel safe, respected and valued; and where the broader community can benefit from additional services provided.
