Simple wisdom for a complex future...

Our annual Centrifuge gathering is happening again on Thursday 15 June. Centred around the theme ‘STAY’, we will be exploring the idea that our ability to stay humble, stay connected, stay hopeful and stay joyful will empower us with simple wisdom for a complex future.

We are privileged to welcome Tim Costello from World Vision to share with us as our keynote speaker for this year’s gathering. There will also be TED-style talks and elective sessions that focus on simple and practical ways to respond to the disruptive and complex challenges that impact our lives, our churches and our communities. These include how to:

  • Stay truthful... finding the truth in a wash of alternative media
  • Stay healthy... navigating an unexpected health crisis
  • Stay rested... finding rest in a relentless life
  • Stay calm... surviving a difficult workplace

There will also be the usual opportunities to catch up with friends and colleagues, and enjoy some great food as we meet together.

For those who just can’t get enough, there will be an opportunity to ‘Stay a little bit longer’ and attend the post Centrifuge celebration, where you will get a chance to eat, drink and talk further in a relaxed atmosphere and be inspired by the work that’s happening across Churches of Christ in Queensland. Make sure you select this option when you register.

We’d love to see you there!
