Aged care and community services jobs

Nursing

Nursing is one of the foundation stones of our commitment to care. Imagine being a part of our wonderful team of nurses who are not only passionate about providing the best care for their clients, but look out for each other as well.

We have a range of nursing roles from registered nurses, enrolled nurses and assistants-in-nursing. These are available in our residential aged care and community care services across Queensland and Victoria.

Personal care workers

Imagine how rewarding giving living assistance to older people could be? The smallest gesture can make the biggest difference to someone’s day.

Care might include showering and dressing, housework and meal preparation, assistance with activities such as shopping and outings, and providing emotional and social support. Such care can be in a residential aged care service or an older person’s own home.

Youth workers

If you're looking for a highly challenging job that utilises your emotional intelligence and is hugely rewarding, a youth worker role could be perfect for you.

Working within a residential care service or in outreach services, youth workers provide counselling and support services focussed on young people. This role involves assessing the physical and emotional wellbeing and needs of young kids within their individual social and cultural environments.

One of the most important things someone in this role can do is to be a good leader and role model. To do so, you’ll need to earn the respect of your clients, which is not always that easily done. We’re not trying to be negative, just realistic. These roles are important but if you don’t like a challenge, and expect a quick fix, it may not be for you. If, however, you’re not easily defeated, appreciate the big reward in seeing the small steps, we’d love to talk.

After all, helping a young person to get their life back on track might just be one of the most rewarding things any person can ever do for another.

Educators

Our early childhood educators help children build the social, learning and developmental skills they need. Our educators may work within a centre, offer family day care in their own home or provide services in a community setting.

If you want to make an impact on the future of another generation you’ve come to the right place.
